Refrigerant, Overview: General

Environmental legislation makes increasing demands on safe handling of refrigerant.
The refrigerant used by Volvo in the AC systems is designated R134a.
WARNING:
R134a must not be mixed with other refrigerants. R134a must not be used in air conditioning (A/C) systems for which other refrigerant types are specified.
NOTE:
