Lock mechanism, replacing

Fold the backrest forward.

Remove: 

• the 3x screws
• the cover
• the 2x screws
• the entire lock by pulling it upwards.

Replacing the rubber in the lock 

Pull the rubber out of the lock. Use a twisting motion. Do not damage the rubber.

Clean the lock where the rubber was positioned.

Install the new rubber as shown. Press the rubber into position. Use a small screwdriver.

Installing the lock 

Install: 

• the lock from above
• the 2x screws. Tighten to 18 Nm
• the protective plate. Tighten the short screw at the rear edge of the backrest.

Check the function.

Adjust the lock catch if necessary.
