Installing the whiplash element

Pull the bracket apart.

Install the 4 washers with the segment in the correct position (with the ribbed side towards the bracket).

Assemble the bracket and align the screw with the nut. Tighten the nut by hand.

Tighten the nut. Tighten to 17 Nm .

Install a new indicator pin in the bracket (only applies to cars up to chassis number -642122 ).

Hook the spring into place.

Secure the SRS ignition cable.
