Removing the seat cushion upholstery

Remove:
- the seat from the car. See Front seat, replacing
- the side panel. See Side panel, replacing (manually controlled seat) or Side panel and control panel power seat, replacing (power seat).
Cut off:
- the clamps from underneath and by the side locking tabs
- the clamps on the side from underneath
- the clamps on both sides.
Pull off as much of the upholstery from the seat cushion as possible.
Cut off the remaining clamps and remove the upholstery.
