Checking for an open-circuit and contact resistance

Check ground terminal 31/2. Check the cable between ground terminal 31/2 and control module terminal 16 for:

an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

contact resistance according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the ground lead between the battery and the bodywork for:

an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

contact resistance according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
