Checking the ground terminal for the pump motor

Ignition off.
Connect an ohmmeter between the ground terminal for the pump motor and ground.

HINT: The pump motor has a separate ground lead. This ground lead is connected to the rear edge of the pump motor and the chassis below it.

The ohmmeter should read approximately 0 Ω.
