Checking for an open-circuit

Select Continue when the fault has been remedied. 

Check the cable between control module terminal 14 and one of the stop (brake) lamp bulbs for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Was the cable OK? 

Check the stop (brake) lamp bulbs. Check the stop (brake) lamp ground terminal. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Select Continue when the fault has been remedied.
