Checking for a short-circuit

Check the cable between control module terminal 14 and stop (brake) lamp switch terminal 2 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

The connection is via the central electrical module. The input signal is via terminal B1:3. The output signal is via terminal F1 to the control module.

Also check the cables between:

ABS control module terminal 14

DSA control module terminal 7

Automatic transmission control module (TCM) terminal 5

Cruise control module terminal 7

for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Select Continue when the fault has been remedied.
