Checking the connectors and cables

Check the control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the cable between control module terminal 14 and one of the stop (brake) lamps for:

an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .

an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .

Check the stop (brake) lamp ground terminal for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .

Check the wiring between:

ABS control module terminal 14

DSA control module terminal 7

for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .
