Installing the throttle cable

Engine compartment:
- check the rubber on the cable
- insert the throttle cable through the cowl panel. Press it until it clicks.
The passenger compartment:
- connect the cable to the pedal. Ensure that the lock engagesNOTE: Cars with cruise control: Install the vacuum unit.
- install the lower dashboard.
Engine compartment:
- Automatic transmission: install the connector for the kickdown switch
- install the cable sleeve on the cable mounting. Snap the clamp (B) into place
- connect the cable to the throttle body (TB).
