Checking the status of the diagnostic trouble code (DTC)

Ignition off.
Start and stop the engine a few times.
Let the engine idle.
Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Is diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DSA-223 still stored?

YES
Refer to Checking the DSA control module
NO
Refer to Faulty signal. Intermittent fault
