Checking the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL)

Disconnect the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) from the combined instrument panel according to Replacing bulbs in the combined instrument panel .
Take an Ohm reading from the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL).

The ohmmeter should read 10-15 Ω.
