Checking the signal cable

Ignition on.
Check the cable between the engine cooling fan (FC) relay base terminal 2 and the engine control module (ECM) connector terminal 68 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
