Checking wiring and connectors

Ignition off
Check the connectors on the engine control module (ECM) and DSA control module. Check for loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) . Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #36 and DSA control module terminal #5. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults
Remedy as necessary.
