Checking wiring and connectors

Ignition off
Check the DSA control module and engine control module (ECM) connectors for loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) and contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal 36 and DSA control module terminal 5 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults
Remedy as necessary.
