Checking wiring and connectors

Ignition off
Check the connector for the affected injector. Check for loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) . Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the signal cable between the affected injector terminal #2 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #59 (ECM-1E), terminal #90 (ECM-1F), terminal #60 (ECM-20) or terminal #89 (ECM-21). Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
