Leak testing the cooling system

Test pressurizing the cooling system

Use pressure gauge 9985496 .

Connect the pressure tester to the coolant reservoir.

Pump up the pressure. Check for leaks.

Maximum permissible pressure 150 kPa .
NOTE: B4184SM, maximum permissible pressure: 90 kPa .
The pressure in the system must be steady. It must not fall noticeably within 30 seconds.

NOTE: Allow the pressure to even out for a couple of minutes.

Check the cooling system for leakage.
