Removing the flywheel

- Remove the engine speed (RPM) sensor assembly with the bracket.
- Turbocharged engines: to replace the oil seal for the crankshaft, see Replacing rearmost crankshaft retaining ring .
- B4204S2 engines: to replace the oil seal for the crankshaft, see Crankshaft seal rear, replacing .
- Slacken off the 10 screws for the flywheel crosswise. Lift out the flywheel.
- Turbocharged engines: to replace the oil seal for the crankshaft, see Replacing rearmost crankshaft retaining ring .
- B4204S2 engines: to replace the oil seal for the crankshaft, see Crankshaft seal rear, replacing .
- Check the rear oil seal on the crankshaft for leakage. Clean if necessary.
