Installing the front-rear member

Install the front-rear member on the front engine mounting.

Press the engine forward. Secure the front-rear member on the rear engine mounting.

Install the front-rear member to the body. Use four screws. Tighten to 69 Nm .

Tighten the screws in the engine mountings. Tighten to 55 Nm .

Install:

the heat deflector plate in front of the output shaft. Tighten to 10 Nm
the support strut between the suspension turrets. Tighten to 55 Nm .

Install new oil filter. See:

Install:

the oil plug with a new gasket. Tighten to 35 Nm
dip stick with pipe. Use a new O-ring.
NOTE: Check that the O-ring is correctly positioned.

Fill with engine oil. Run the engine to operating temperature.

Check for oil leaks from the oil pan or oil cooler.

Install the front and rear splash guards under the engine.

Check the oil level. Top up as necessary.
