Installing components

Install:

The starter motor, see Starter motor, Installing .
Route the cable via the protective tube. Install the clamps.
The connector on the bracket.
The cover over the connector.
The engine cover.
The front engine cover.
The battery negative lead.

Start the engine. Read off any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
