Checking the connectors and the boost pressure system

Ignition off.
Check the boost pressure sensor connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

Release the boost pressure control (BPC) valve according to Checking and adjusting the boost pressure control (BPC) valve on the turbocharger (TC) . Check that the boost pressure control (BPC) valve does not stick in the closed position.

Check the turbocharger (TC) according to Checking the turbocharger (TC) . Check in particular the hoses and the function of the pressure regulator.

Remedy as necessary.
