Checking the signal cable resistance to ground

- Ignition off.
- DSA control module disconnected.
- Engine control module (ECM) disconnected.
- Breakout box connected to the engine control module (ECM).
FENIX 5.1
- On vehicles with automatic transmission: Disconnect the automatic transmission control module (TCM).
- Connect an ohmmeter between breakout box terminal 37 and ground.
EMS 2000
- Connect an ohmmeter between breakout box terminal 71 and ground.

The ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.
