Checking for an open-circuit

Check the cable between DSA control module terminal 7 and one of the stop (brake) lamps for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Check the central electrical module (CEM) connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

If the cable is OK, check the stop (brake) lamp bulbs and the stop (brake) lamp ground terminal for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
