Checking wiring and terminals

Check the DSA control module connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the cable between DSA control module terminal #7 and one of the stop lamps. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .

Check the stop lamp ground terminal. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .

Check the wiring between DSA control module #7 and the ABS control module, the automatic transmission control module (TCM) and the cruise control module. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .
