Checking wiring and terminals

NOTE:

A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may be stored if a DSA control module for model year 2003- is installed in a -2002 model year car. Check that the correct version of the control module is installed.

Check combined instrument panel connector B and the control module connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the cable between combined instrument connector B terminal 22 and control module terminal #16. Check for an open-circuit. See Open-circuit, intermittent faults . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. See Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage. See Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .
