Warming Up the Evaporator

Connect recirculation. Set the temperature regulation to maximum heat and the fan switch to maximum speed. All ventilation outlets should be fully open. If the defroster position has been selected the compressor is under override control and can start up. Run the engine at operating temperature for 20 minutes to expel all moisture from the evaporator.
