Installing the Wheels

Check that the mating surface on the brake discs and the wheel rims are clean.

Lubricate the hub center guide for the rim using anti-corrosion agent, Volvo P/N 1161038-3.

Install the wheel. Tighten the nuts lightly. Then tighten the screws crosswise. Tighten to 110 Nm. When tightening using an impact wrench, torque socket 9512834 must be used.

NOTE: Crosswise tightening and the correct tightening torques are important to avoid stresses in the brake disc.
