Checking the Front Brake Disc

Check the brake disc surface. Check the lateral runout of the brake disc if the disc is uneven. See Measuring Brake Disc Lateral Runout (Front/Rear) . The brake disc must be replaced if it is very worn or grooved. See Front Brake Disc Replacement .

NOTE: Minimum disc thickness = 21.5 mm. If installing new brake pads, the minimum disc thickness must be at least 22.1 mm.
