Cleaning And Inspecting the Brake Disc And Hub

NOTE: Cleaning is important for the prevention of brake disc wobble (lateral runout).

Check that the hub flange is clean.

Remove rust with steel wool or a wire brush.

Inspect the hub.

If the hub is damaged, measure its lateral runout. See Measuring Lateral Runout In Hub (Front/Rear) .
