Removing the steering gear housing from the cross member

Install a tensioner strap between the rear engine mounting and the front towing eyelet. Tension the strap so that the lower section of the engine is pulled forward.
NOTE:
Do not trap and damage the radiator or other components.
Remove:
- the screw from the heat deflector for the steering gear housing
- the two screws from the pipe bracket on the cross member
- the heat deflector
- the four screws from the steering gear housing
- the brackets. Lift the steering gear housing from the cross member.
