Checking and adjusting gear-shift position sensor: Check

NOTE: Press the tool down towards the flat surfaces below the thread on the shaft.

Install tool 9995475 on the gear shift linkage rod.

Check that the rod is in the N position (second position after the P position, P-R-N).

The slot on the tool must line up exactly over the marking on the gear-shift position sensor.
