Removing the mounting bracket for the engine control module (ECM)

Switch off the ignition for 30 seconds. Then switch it on again. (If the engine cooling fan (FC) runs on, wait until it has stopped. Then wait a further 30 seconds)
Remove the side panels from center console
Drill out the security screw on the right-hand side of the bracket. Remove the security screw using screw extractor 9985447
NOTE:
Do not let dust/debris fall onto the carpet
Remove the bracket (A).
