Removing the engine control module (ECM)

Pull the bracket (B) to the left. Remove the bracket
Release the connector catch. Disconnect the connector
Remove screw (C). Slacken off screw (D)
Remove the engine control module (ECM) (move the carpet to one side if necessary).
NOTE:
Always check the control module and the control module box connectors for bent or damaged terminal pins and connecting sockets. This may be the cause of the fault.
