Driver Information Module, Removing/Installing: Removal: Conditions

CAUTION: Before replacing control module, it's important to read out how the old control module is programmed. This is done in VIDA Vehicle communication. Read out and note the programmed values.

After replacement, the data in question shall be programmed in the new control module. If values cannot be read out, ask your nearest manager/sales company/customer so that the new control module gets the same configuration as the old control module.

Note any radio code and indicator reading.
Ignition off.
Disconnect the battery's negative cable.
