Replacing rear windshield, 4-door: Installation

- Clean the existing PUR bead using cleaner H.
- Apply the PUR/RIM activator to the glass frame.
- Prepare to install the glass by applying tape vertically onto the bodywork to secure the glass in position when installing
- Apply suction pads to the glass
- Apply the PUR adhesive to the glass
- Bend the electrical lead connectors back at right angles to the glass
- Align the glass to the bodywork accurately
- Install and apply tape to the glass to secure it
- Remove the suction pads
Push the glass down by hand if any further height adjustment is required.
- Connect the wiring to the rear windshield
- Install the stop lamp
