Removing the bumper: Notes

NOTE:

Do not damage the paintwork when removing the bumper.

Remove:

the right and left-hand turn signal lamps
the screw (A) on the left and right-hand sides
the clip (B) for the cable harness in the bumper.

If necessary remove:

outside temperature sensor
the coupling for the headlamp wiper
the hose for the headlamp wiper by the T-coupling.

Remove the air baffle.

Remove the switch for the sidemarker lamp.

Remove the switch for the fog lamps.

NOTE:

Remove the fuse by the air cleaner and disconnect the ground lead if the car is equipped with an engine block heater.

Remove:

the two clips (A) on the bumper
the four screws for the bumper
the bumper.

If the car is equipped with headlamp wipers fold the headlamp wipers forward.
