Drive shaft, removing

Position mobile jack 9985972 under the outer section of the control arm.
- Remove the nuts and screws for the stub axle / spring strut.
- Turn the stub axle as much as possible for turning to the right.
- Remove the drive shaft from the hub.
- HINT: If the drive shaft sticks in the hub, tap it with a copper or rubber mallet. If necessary press the drive shaft out of the hub using a universal puller.
- Hang the stub axle on the spring strut. Use hook 9995045 .

Remove the drive shaft from the gearbox enough to free the snap ring in the differential gear. Use jimmy tool 9995681 .
Remove the drive shaft. Install sealing plug 9995488 in the gearbox.
