Checking Non-Reclining Seat

Run/push ahead the seat.

Raise the seat maximally at the trailing edge

Remove the screw on the inside at the side panels leading edge (1).

Pull the side panel straight up at the trailing edge (2).

Fold aside the side panel.

Loosen the seatbelt from the seatbelt fitting by pressing in the catch.

Remove: 

Check the whiplash unit by the rivet on the side of the seat.

If there is no visible space between the rivet and the fitting, then the whiplash unit is functional.

Install in the reverse order.

If there is a visible space between the rivet and the fitting, then the whiplash elements on both sides of the seat shall be replaced acc. to: COLLISION PROTECTION UNIT FROM BEHIND FRONT SEAT or.
