Installing the rear bumper

Align the lugs (6) on the bumper in the channels (7) on the slide mounting.

Press at the top so that the lugs secure.

HINT: This operation is easier with two people. 

Tighten the screws for the slide mountings on both sides.

Install 1 spring nut on each side.

Install: 

• the screws, 1 on each side. Tighten
• the connector for the antenna amplifier or the screw for the bracket
• the 4 M8 nuts. Tighten.

HINT: Use butyl tape to secure the nuts in the socket. Otherwise the nuts are easy to lose. 

Install: 

• the soundproofing
• the sub-woofer if applicable
• the cover and soundproofing on the right-hand side
• the battery. See Battery, replacing
• the floor hatch.
