Checking the 15-supply

Check that there is contact between start switch terminals #30 and #15.

Check that there is contact between start switch terminals #30 and #15.

Check that there is 15-supply from the start switch during the vehicle start attempt. Check the power supply from start switch terminal #15.

If a fault is found during the above fault tracing, replace the start switch.

If no fault is found, check the signal cable between start switch connector #15A and:

engine control module (ECM) #B37
central electronic module (CEM) #3B
relay 2/31, central electronic module (CEM) #2
Immobilizer antenna unit #1
supplemental restraint system module (SRS) #28B for open-circuit or short-circuit to ground.

Remedy as necessary.
