Replacing the remote start unit

Fault-tracing indicates that the remote start unit is defective.

NOTE:

Ensure that the accessory electronic module (AEM) is functioning before taking any other action. If the fault seems to be in the control module, refer to other fault-tracing for the Accessory Electronic Module (AEM).

Also check that the parking heater is functioning be activating it by other means than via remote start. If the fault seems to be in the parking heater, refer to other fault-tracing for the parking heater.
