Checking locking relay circuit

Remove the locking relay (2/111).
Check the cable between terminal #4 the cable connector and terminal #3 on the relay base for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
If a fault is detected, check in particular the 2 intermediate connectors in the cable harness for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
Remedy as necessary.
If no fault is detected, measure the resistance between terminal #4 in the relay base and ground.
The ohmmeter should read 0 ohm.
If the resistance is incorrect, replace the rear electronic module.
