• Ignition off.

  Check the cable between the carphone module A3 (terminal #3) and the handset microphone signal D3 (terminal #34). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

  Try replacing the carphone handset if no fault is found in the wiring.

  Remedy as necessary.
