Checking the component

Measure the resistance between pins terminals #8 and #6 on the chassis switch lock unit.

The ohmmeter should read approximately 5 ohm.

Is the value correct? 

• YES 

  Refer to Function test 

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing the lock unit
