Connecting The Breakout Box

• Ignition off
• Remove fuse 11A/4 in the fusebox in the engine compartment
• Remove the rear view mirror. See UPPER ELECTRONIC MODULE (UEM)/REARVIEW MIRROR, REPLACING
• Remove the cover from the back of the rear view mirror
• Disconnect the control module connector.

Connect adapter see 9511463 to the upper electronic module (UEM) connector. Connect breakout box see 9813190 or breakout box see 9511428 and wiring see 9511499 to the adapter.

Disconnect the breakout box in reverse order.
