• Ignition off for 10 seconds
• Switch on the ignition. Wait 10 seconds.

  Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

  If the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is intermittent, the fault has been eliminated.

Is the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) intermittent? 

• NO 

  See: CHECKING THE COMPONENT 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) has registered that an incorrect front impact sensor model has been installed.

If this fault occurs, replace the front left front impact sensor. Check against the replacement parts catalogue which front impact sensor model is used in the relevant Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)

In the event of a permanent fault, replace the front impact sensor.

Remedy as necessary.
