Installing The Brake Pipes

NOTE:

For tightening torques, see: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

NOTE:

The new brake pipe must be bent into the correct shape when installing. This is important otherwise the pipe may be subject to stresses when it is in place.

Install:

the brake pipes. Tighten. See: TIGHTENING TORQUE
the brake pipe and the brake hose in the bracket. Tighten. See: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

Remove the pedal jack.

NOTE:

The brake pipe must not be in contact with the car body. The brake hose must not be twisted.
