If the car has manual adjustment for the parking brake see the illustration and (1). Reset the parking brake. See Parking brake, adjusting .

If the car has a self-adjusting parking brake.

Reassemble and lock the self-adjuster unit for the parking brake. See: PARKING BRAKE SELF-ADJUSTMENT, RESETTING (LEFT-HAND DRIVE) or PARKING BRAKE SELF-ADJUSTMENT, RESETTING (RIGHT-HAND DRIVE) .
