Checking components and wiring
Check the wiring between sun roof switch and roof lamp module (RCM). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check the cable between the sun roof module (SRM) terminal #7 and the roof lamp module (RCM) terminal #1B. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check the cable between the sun roof module (SRM) terminal #9 and the roof lamp module (RCM) terminal #9A. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Remedy as necessary.
If no fault was found, try replacing the sun roof switch.
