Removing the front bumper

Remove: 

• the 2 covers
• the 2 clips (2) on the underneath of the bumper casing
• the 2 screws.

HINT: Use butyl tape to secure the screws. Otherwise the screws are easy to lose. 

Remove the 6 clips at the top edge of the bumper cover.

Slacken off the screw (3), 1 on each side, until the slide mounting releases from the bumper cover.

HINT: Press the screw so that the screw head bottoms out.

Pull the bumper forward while pulling both the sides outwards so that the edges release from the slide mounting.

HINT: This operation is easier with two people. 

Remove: 

• the 2 connectors for the fog lamps
• the quick-release connector for the hose for the headlamp washer.
